Introduction to H H brand

Heartfelt Homestead is a family run farm of goats, chickens, and horses. It is our mission to take only what we need and give back where we can. The land we have is small, and we utilize the space to its fullest.  Our modest footprint has given us the opportunity to find creative systems to grow food for our critters indoors and year round.  This enables us to provide very nutritious food for the animals that in turn provides our family and clients with the best possible product.

what we do?

Holistic Home SYstems

We believe in the circle of life and are trying to model our lifestyle after natural circles. Starting from the ground up, we collect poop and old straw hay which is picked up by a local farmer who specializes in making compost. We grow food inside year-round with grow lights, hydroponics, micro greens, and fader systems. We also support ourselves and our business by hunting, fishing, and gathering being sure not to over harvest and use all the scraps and nutrition as additives for our animals, which they love!

Cas is a 20-year-old gelding who greatly benefits from the microgreens in the wintertime. He is available for private riding lessons, and leasing. Horse training, trailering, and boarding is also available.

Goats provide dairy products for herd share members and soap making, plus some extra cuteness to the Sunday petting pen. The first Sunday of every month we will open the petting pen, free to herd share members. Bring friends and get to know your dairy goats.

Hualing of equipment, fixing fencing, and building animal shelters are all things we can assist with. With a fantastic welder on hand custom manufacturing is something we do regularly. We are currently working on a gasifier project to help power the water heaters and heat lamps for the outside critters.

Meet the team

  • Founder

Wife, mom, owner, manager. I am a work from home mom, with an outdoor education degree. I have worked on many ranches in Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and mostly Colorado before traveling to and settling down in Alaska to be close to family. Horse care, horse training, and being a mom are my passions. Homesteading, farming, and gardening nicely compliment my passions and allow me to establish a noteworthy work ethic and awesome life skills. Staying home with my child and accomplishing as much as I can with what we have allows me to also set a good example for my daughter as a business woman and mother. It also enables me to make a mark in my community, establishing a place where people can come together to learn, share, and help each other with outreach programs and healthy living .

  • Owner, Manufacturer

Hilarious husband, fantastic father, owner, partner, welder, and operator, just to name a few.  This man of many hats is the backbone of this company and has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met. We would not be here without his full commitment mode, which is an inspiration every day! He enjoys being out in nature and spending time with his family. He also enjoys hunting, which helps us live more sustainably.

  • Bimini is our two-year-old who loves to pet ‘her’ horse, Cas, and ride the snowmachine with dad. She helps mom feed the critters and points out the fresh poop to scoop though the piles outweigh her!
